The savings range depending on which printer you own. Refills run anywhere from $1 to $4 per refill. These savings increase substantially based on how much ink you buy. Savings can be much more for certain models, for example, the HP Inkjet 300 black refill costs $18 for 4 refills. A new cartridge would cost between $25 and $35 depending on where you live, but only costs between $3.50 and $4.75 per refill depending on whether you get the double ink option or not. Refill prices can go as low as $1 and $2 and lower per refill on the majority of models.

We use high performance inks that have the exact same chemical and physical properties as the original inks. However, our inks are specially formulated for YOUR printer and that reduces the chance of clogging (more so than the original inks) and increases printer performance and definition. Our inks are like premium gas for a car, making the machine run smoother and more efficiently. The blacks are blacker, and the colors more vibrant.

You might notice that one of your color chambers, in a three chamber color cartridge, usually runs out before the others. The great thing about refilling your own cartridges is that you no longer have to waste the other inks. Simply refill the empty chamber and top off the others!

NO. If any printer manufacturer tells you their warranty is voided by the use of refills, please feel free to recite or fax the following:
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act
United States Code Annotated
Title 15 Commerce and Trade
Chapter 50 Consumer Product Warranties 15 Section 2302
No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection may be waived by the commission if:
The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and the Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest.
What this means to printer users!
This means that the manufacturer of the printer you are using cannot void the warranty on your printer because you use a cartridge or refill kit manufactured by someone other than the printer manufacturer. This prohibition includes the use of compatible cartridges, clip-ons, continuous feeding mechanisms, refill kits, ink, etc.
The manufacturer will suggest you use original cartridges because they are concerned about inferior ink clogging or ruining the printer. Manufacturers are more concerned that you will stop using their product! The ink that we use is identical in chemical composition to the original manufacturer's ink, but is premium grade which actually improves performance. One tip though; If you ever get your printer serviced by the retailer, or bring it in for service, take out the refilled cartridge. The reason for this is because the retailer that sold you the printer will probably have their own parts and service warranty plan, and to save themselves money, will probably blame any problems on the refilled cartridge. Printer techs can be very convincing, but be assured that any problem with your printer will not be due to the fact that you are using refilled cartridges. In fact, our ink will improve your printers performance!

It is not difficult at all. It is a simple process that once you get the hang of seems ridiculously easy. Typically it takes 5 to 10 minutes the first time you do it. When you master the process it usually only takes a few minutes to do the refill. It saves you a trip to the mall to buy a new cartridge, and can actually be quite satisfying, knowing you are saving so much money!

If you are careful, it shouldn't be too messy. You should take the proper precautions ...after all accidents do happen! At first, you might get some ink on your hands, but it really isn't a big deal. The ink can be removed quickly by using a mild bleach solution. Soap and water can also be used but may not be as effective as the bleach. After you get the hang of it, the chances of an accident will lessen.

Do I need to be technically gifted to refill my cartridge?
Of course not! It really isn't that difficult. It is a different system than you are used to (popping in a VERY expensive cartridge), but you will get the hang of it. All you have to be able to do is 1. read 2. follow directions 3. have motor function in your hands!

What if I can't do it?

Is there any sacrifice in print quality?
There should be no sacrifice in print quality. The inks are chemically identical. They are premium grade inks. If anything you will notice the colors are a little more vibrant.

Most Cartridges can be refilled at least ten times. It depends on the type of cartridge you have. Cartridges with the print head built in generally can be refilled 10 - 15 times or more. Cartridges without the print head in them in theory can be refilled infinitely, however other factors can affect this. Drying out, clogging, print head age and frequency of use can all contribute. Usually cartridges without print heads can be refilled at least 5 times. Although some Epson cartridges have been known to be a little stingy only allowing you to refill them 2-3 times. There are ways you can prolong the life of your cartridge so that you get as many refills as you can for maximum savings!
- Never let a cartridge run dry (cartridges with built in print heads can burn out their resistors if run while dry) . Always keep the extra cartridge full.
- Get in the habit of topping off your cartridge instead of waiting until it runs out.
- Don't touch the copper plate on print head cartridges
- Always refill your cartridge IMMEDIATELY upon running out of ink.

Everything you will need is included in the startup refill kit (with the exception of the odd piece of tape). Depending on the make and model of your printer, your kit will include detailed instructions, a syringe for inserting the ink, a full ink bottle, and sometimes a small drill. Whatever your make and model, after you have purchased the startup kit the only additional cost will be for the ink alone.

That depends entirely on whether you request a rush delivery. We ship through UPS to ensure your product arrives safely without delay. You can request quicker service, but our standard shipping is a 3 day delivery depending where in the U.S. you live. For southern states and west coast, expect a 5-7 day delivery time. Our processing is 1 business day.

Why do the printer manufacturer's tell me not to refill?
Why do you think? They practically give the printers away to have you as a captive customer for life! For example, how much ink do you think is in these cartridges? Let me tell you that an Epson cartridge holds about 4cc's of ink! "But the cartridge must cost money to produce?" Come on, that piece of plastic with a sponge inside? The entire unit costs MAYBE 30 cents and they are charging $30! Call their bluff. "Don't remove the cartridge from the printer" they say - call Epson and tell them your ORIGINAL cartridge is not printing and they will tell you to - you guessed it - REMOVE THE CARTRIDGE!
"We will void the warranty if you refill" This is a scare tactic (see 'will refilling void my warranty' FAQ #6 above). How are they ever going to know you refilled unless you tell them? Why do they say this? Because they WANT YOU TO KEEP BUYING THEIR CARTRIDGES! Refilling is completely harmless
It is the same ink flowing through the same cartridge run by the same printer.

This service is geared more towards our local market, so we suggest that you just try the refill kits. You would use the same technique as we would and you would save a lot more money! The chances of your cartridge being damaged in transit is not an issue if you get the refill kit.
